What we do with anything you send us

This page explains, in plain language, what Gunner Technology does with your information. This website uses one measurement tool, PostHog, to understand how the site is used: which pages people visit, what they click, and a replay of how a visitor moves through a page, so we can see where the site is confusing and fix it. Anything you might type on a page is masked in those replays before it leaves your browser. None of it runs until you say yes. The first time you arrive we ask, plainly, whether we may measure your visit; if you say yes we store a small identifier on your device — a cookie — so that a later visit can be recognised as the same person returning rather than a stranger, which is the only way to tell whether the people we write for come back. If you say no, PostHog stores no identifier and does not measure your visit, and the site behaves exactly the same. The one thing we keep either way is your answer itself, so that we do not keep asking you; it is not used to measure anything. You can change it whenever you like by emailing support@gunnertech.com. If you agree to measurement, we also use PostHog to find browser errors. These reports include the page category, site version and the location of the failing code. We remove error messages, form values and other attached text before sending them. PostHog is an outside company, and it holds those measurements on our behalf; we use them for one purpose, which is making this site better, and for nothing else. We do not sell them, we do not rent them, and we do not use them to follow you around the web with ads. Beyond those measurements, the only information we receive is what you choose to send us when you get in touch. The way to reach us is the form on our contact page, and you decide what to share: your name, your work email, your company if you want to name it, how you heard about us, and whatever you write in your message. The form also notes when you opened the page, which is only used to tell a person filling it in from a program filling it in instantly. We save your inquiry securely while delivering it to Attio, the system we use to keep track of conversations, and to our team in Slack. Both receive the contact details and message you submit so that a real person can reply and remember the thread later. If a delivery fails, we keep the inquiry for recovery rather than dropping it. Once both deliveries finish, we remove the inquiry text from the delivery queue; a receipt remains briefly to prevent duplicate processing. If you have agreed to analytics and submit the form successfully, we also send your email address, name and company to PostHog to connect that inquiry with the visit that led to it. Masking the replay does not hide those separately submitted details. We use it for one purpose: to reply to you and start that first conversation. We keep it only as long as we need it to respond and to carry on the conversation you started, and we delete it once it is no longer needed for that — or sooner, whenever you ask. To have us delete what you have sent, email support@gunnertech.com; a real person reads that inbox. Our booking link opens Calendly, an outside scheduling provider. For visitors arriving from our Reddit ad, the booking link also passes fixed campaign tags so we can tell which ad led to a booking; it contains no name or email address. Calendly receives the details you enter there to arrange the meeting, such as your name, email address and chosen time. Its own privacy notice and cookie controls apply on its site. We do not embed Calendly here or load its scheduling scripts before you follow the link. If any of this is unclear, email support@gunnertech.com and we will explain it.
